Meet the team

Having joined T&P in 2014 as Principal Geotechnical Engineer James took responsibility for geotechnical quality and development within the company in addition to being a key member of the business development team.

James grew up in South Wales before moving to Southampton to read Oceanography at the University of Southampton. Following this he completed an MSc. in Geohazard Assessment in the university of Portsmouth prior to taking a position as graduate geo-environmental engineer at WSP Environmental in late 2002.

Following roles at BAE Systems and CL Associates James took a position as Senior Engineer and Project Leader at Costain which involved managing large scale ground investigation work on civil engineering and infrastructure schemes. After 8 years at Costain James spent two years as the engineering manager at CC Ground Investigations prior to joining T&P.

In his spare time James enjoys surfing, snowboarding and writing/recording music.
